A slightly more inspiring set of fixtures take place this weekend after last week’s slightly disappointing line up of Premiership matches and there look to be quite a few good betting opportunities this weekend, especially on Sunday.
The first game of the weekend is Blackburn v Arsenal and betting on a game with two out of form sides isn’t always the best idea but the draw appears to be a very solid bet in this match. Arsenal have looked short on ideas going forward this season and Blackburn will set themselves up to get a point from this game. Blackburn have won three of the last six games between these two sides in the league at Ewood Park and they can gain a vital point here at 3.6.
Everton haven’t looked great so far this season but a home match against Wigan is likely to be one of the easier games this season, Wigan look very poor and will struggle for goals this season so Everton may only need to score once to win this match. Judging by their performance against Aston Villa, Everton are certainly capable of scoring that goal and at 4/7 they could be this weekend’s banker, in a set of very competitive fixtures.
Wolves look another good bet on Saturday at home to QPR. Wolves have made a very bright start to the season and a 2-0 home loss to Spurs last week probably flattered the winners a little, there was very little between the two sides. QPR have made some decent signings but they could take time to settle in fully and Wolves should really be around the 8/11 mark for this match, the fact that they are 10/11 means Wolves are a good value bet this weekend.
The best bets of the weekend could come on Sunday, first of all with Spurs v Liverpool at Tottenham. Spurs looked far from the finished article against Wolves last week but new signings Adebayor and Parker made them look much more solid and they should be even better back at White Hart Lane, where they only lost one league game last season. In comparison, Liverpool lost eleven away matches last season and still aren’t convincing on the road this season, Spurs at 7/4 look way overpriced and those odds may not be available anymore near kick off.
Finally the best bet this weekend is surely Man Utd v Chelsea. There may only be two points between the two teams but as far as performances go Man Utd are streets ahead of Chelsea at the moment. Man Utd also have home advantage, they dropped just two points at home last season and look even better this season, the 10/11 on Man Utd at the time of writing is far too big it would be no surprise to see Man Utd a much shorter price by the time this match kicks off.

This is a question we get all of the time from our loyal supporters who live in Nigeria. As far as I can tell this is because their betting seems to be restricted to the English and Scottish Leagues and is focussed on predicting draws. Footyforecast and our main tipping site <a href="http://www.1x2monster.com” target=”_blank”>www.1x2monster.com don't offer this service directly although you can do this in several ways on the 1x2monster website.
Method 1:
————
Go to this URL: http://www.1x2monster.com/phpfpages/1x2tips_perf_…
then scroll down to the DRAWS section.
Find the highest of the English and Scottish leagues for draws. This week (24th Sep 2011)…
Look at Scotland Div one = 37% correct accross all methods.
Now go to the tips page for Scotland Div one:
Scroll down until you see the performance section and look for the best methods predicting draws. This week this is:
Footyforecast = 47% correct (hit rate)
Simple Sequence = 38% correct (hit rate)
Best = 43% correct (hit rate)
Now look at the tips for this week and see what these three methods are predicting:
Livingston v Partick Thistle shows all three methods predicting a draw.
Dundee v Hamilton also showing a draw.
Now use this technique to find more draws.
Method 2:
————
If you are a member you can go to this page:
http://www.1x2monster.com/phpmpages/topten.php
Here you can choose a method to get predictions for.
in the Tips Selection drop down choose: Draws UK
Select the number of games in that drop down.
Select Sort By, for example: Footyforecast.
Then click the Submit button.
This will show the best games for draws for the selected method, in this case Footyforecast.
eg.
For this week this shows the games at:
Brighton, Charlton, Norwich, Dundee and St Johnstone.
You can look at the H2H for each of these games to get more information on those games.
Hope this helps and best of luck with your selections this week.
